Dear Parents:

Thank you for your interest in the Talent Show. It is
notably the student’s favorite program of the school year. It is a good
opportunity for the students to perform and a good opportunity for parents
to offer sincere praise. We have seen over the years that student
motivation to learn a new instrument, return to private music lessons, and
pick up a new skill is at a high point immediately following the Talent
Shows. Now is a good time to revisit dormant skills and encourage your
child to be active again.

There is one more evening program for the 2014-2015 school
year; the Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday evening, June 2. All students will
be performing, however, the program will not demand the same amount of time
as the Talent Show, where there are individual and small group performances.
The three divisions of the school: elementary, middle school and high school
will be combined for one program on June 2. Four students completed their
high school education in December; 17 more students will graduate from GCA
in June. Please plan to be at GCA to honor the work of these students and
to encourage them as they move into their college experiences. It is
important to remind them collectively of God’s Grace, Omnipotence and
Omnipresence.
