Level 3-Precautions-Monday May 17

Dear Parents:

We are all concerned about the increase in the number of covid 19 cases.  We are grateful to your past sacrifices you have made in order to protect the physical health of our students and their wellbeing in general.  We know that you have changed your company assignments, your travel plans, and sometimes your careers, in order to avoid contacting Covid 19.  Please continue applying these strategies on a more local scheme, being willing to alter your plans for the sake of the GCA community.  Please careful of where you go and what you touch.

As you know, the government has moved to a level 3 precautionary alert status.  This does not close schools, although some which are located in more heavily affected areas have opted to close for two weeks.  GCA will remain open, however, we will observe the following protocols.

This is a lot for us to process, and changes will be evident, however, the students have demonstrated in the past a community spirit which we applaud.  Please watch for sufficient sleep and good healthy eating habits.  The children think about their family in friends in other countries.  Experiencing covid 19 as a child will reveal a stronger confidence in their personal resilience and the faithfulness of God.
