Principal’s Welcome

Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise Him.

In recent years, the themes we have chosen have been Grace, Responsibility, and Integrity.  The foundation is the grace of God, seen through His love as He sent His son

Jesus, to give His life as a sacrifice for us.  As recipients of His grace, we accept the responsibilities He has given us.  When we set about to live a life pleasing to God, we become confronted by the roadblocks created through a lack of integrity prevalent in our world.  Yet, when we focus on who God is, we are refreshed again by His grace and His character.  Knowing that God is trustworthy, we can place our trust in Him.  Our theme for this school year, is trust.

The teachers at GCA are trustworthy.  When they look at each student, they see someone who was created by God; someone God loves.  The teachers at GCA are caring, educational facilitators who strive to find the best methods of bringing academic success to your son and daughter.

The students at GCA are trustworthy.  As we seek to build the character of each student, we hope to encourage observation skills and a discerning eye.  It’s part of life to seek friendship.   As students interact with the students around them, they must learn to be a trustworthy friend and develop within themselves those character qualities they seek in others.

The administration and staff at GCA are trustworthy.  As a small school, we have the advantage of familiarity.  It’s a privilege to testify to the integrity of the secretaries, the chefs, the bus drivers and the administrators, because we have known them for so many years and seen their attitudes and behavior through joy and challenges.

We are excited about trusting God this year.  It will be a year of learning about the character of God, creating relationships of trust based upon observable integrity, and building our skills through the many facets of education we have grown to appreciate at GCA.

Under God’s Grace,
